Kiley Price (’19) was recently hired as a reporter at Inside Climate News, a Pulitzer Prize-winning nonprofit newsroom that provides essential reporting and analysis on climate change, energy and the environment. Journalism Program Alumna Meagan Marks (’23) Published in Triad City Beat

Meagan Marks (’23), who graduated in May, had a September cover story published in Triad City Beat about the Athenas, an all-female weightlifting group on Wake Forest’s campus. Mariama Jallow, Class of 2022, Wins NC Press Association Award for Work at NC Health News

Mariama Jallow (’22), who is currently completing her master’s degree at the Columbia Journalism School in New York City, has won a North Carolina Press Association Award for a story she published during her internship at NC Health News. NC Health News was honored with an additional 16 awards for work published between October 2020 and February 2022.

Liv Clifford (’21) is working as a crime and breaking news reporter at the Daily News-Miner in Fairbanks, Alaska. Since beginning in May, she has covered murder trials, shootings and interviewed victims of a serial arsonist.
