Co-Author of “His Name is George Floyd: One Man’s Life and the Struggle for Racial Justice” Coming to WFU

The Journalism and African American Studies Programs are pleased to announce an upcoming public conversation with Robert Samuels of The Washington Post on his book His Name is George Floyd: One Man’s Life and the Struggle for Racial Justice, a finalist for the 2022 National Book Award.

Robert Samuels will be in conversation with Corey D. B. Walker, Wake Forest Professor of the Humanities and director of the Program in African American Studies, and Phoebe Zerwick, Professor of the Practice and director of the Journalism Program, on October 17th at 5pm in ZSR Auditorium. A reception and book signing will follow.
