WFU grad covers crime and breaking news in Fairbanks, Alaska

Liv Clifford (’21) is working as a crime and breaking news reporter at the Daily News-Miner in Fairbanks, Alaska. Since beginning in May, she has covered murder trials, shootings and interviewed victims of a serial arsonist. She enjoys the fast-paced environment of a newsroom and connecting with the local community. Liv first developed an interest in journalism after taking Political Journalism: Election 2020 with Professor Phoebe Zerwick her senior year at Wake Forest.
